If you know where your nearest defibrillator is, you could save someone’s life.
When I was elected in 2019 I started a campaign to increase the number of life saving defibrillators on the island. Recent research shows that your best chances of survival from a cardiac arrest is to receive a cardiac shock within three minutes. Every minute afterwards decreases your chance of survival by 10%. Across Ynys Môn there are around 50 defibrillator boxes for community responders and the public to use. However, there can always be more.
If you are responsible for a defibrillator you can register it on The Circuit so that it appears in searches should someone need to find one!
