In my latest column for the Holyhead and Anglesey Mail I discuss the importance of elected representatives taking every opportunity to fight for those they represent.
When I stood for election in 2019 I committed to working hard to bring jobs and investment to Ynys Môn and that is exactly what I have done.
I see my role as one of facilitating positive and impactful change for the people of Ynys Môn – change that you tell me every day you want to see.
There are some things that I cannot change – such as Council planning decisions that were made years ago on the land at Penrhos – I am open about that and I will not disingenuously pretend to be able to do something when I know that I cannot.
However, where my position allows me to move forward improvements and benefits for our island, I will absolutely do that.
This has been the case with my campaigns to bring Anglesey Freeport and new nuclear at Wylfa.
