Virginia at Carers week Parliament drop in

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

The theme for Carers Week 2023 is 'Recognising and supporting Carers in the community' and I know from my mailbox that we have some amazingly selfless people in our communities caring for a relative, friend or loved one.

We also have some fantastic organisations and groups to help support our carers including Mirili MON- Dementia Activity & Support, Gofalwyr Ifanc Gwynedd & Ynys Mon Young Carers, 3dFamilies Anglesey & Gwynedd, Carers Wales and tide - together in dementia everyday with whom I held a "Carers Together" day to signpost people living with and caring for those with dementia, with the support to help them,.

Diolch yn fawr to all those who care for others, I have linked some support resources in the below, and if I can help with anything please do get in touch.
