Great to join Paul Moffett, Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Operations Manager and his team (Frank boat house manager, Alan mechanic, Dr David DLA - deputy launch authority - Tom, Jack, Smithy and many others!) for a panad, a catch up and to discuss their medals!
I am exceptionally proud of all of the team who do a terrific job in keeping us safe - often in difficult and challenging circumstances.
The RNLI have huge respect and support here on Anglesey from all communities. We are fortunate too to have volunteers like Shirley and Bill Rogerson - and many others who work so hard in the RNLI shops.
On a personal note and as a keen sailor - I am a member of Holyhead Sailing Club , Royal Anglesey Yacht Club and recently Trearddur Bay - and I am a qualified BSAC diver - the RNLI are particularly close to my heart.
I am very much looking forward to speaking - in Welsh - at Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon on July 30th - at a gala dinner kindly organised by RWYC - The Royal Welsh Yacht Club The Royal Welsh Yacht Club to celebrate their 175th Anniversary and raise vital funds for the RNLI in Wales.
