Once operating, the mine is expected to employ 120 direct, full-time employees and create an additional 400 โ 500 full time indirect jobs within the local community.
At full production, the mine would produce around 26,000t of metals critical to the energy transition that will enable the UK to meet its Net Zero goals.
The metals produced will include copper, zinc, lead and silver, which all have an important part to play in the decarbonisation of the environment. The site will also produce around 4,000oz of gold.
