Since the emergency closure of the Menai Suspension Bridge in October - along with my two Conservative North Wales MSs Sam Rowlands and Mark Isherwood - I have held regular meetings with businesses affected across Anglesey.
These businesses have now been hit with a further setback - Welsh Labour (who have a co-operation agreement with Plaid) are scrapping all road building plans โ including a third bridge for Ynys Mรดn.
The Menai Suspension Bridge has reopened - subject to a 7.5 tonne weight limit - however businesses affected still desperately need our support.
I will be holding another online meeting on February 27th at 4pm to discuss the continued challenges these businesses face, what concerns they have about the works on the Menai Suspension Bridge, whether communications have improved and most importantly to continue to press for compensation.
Please register to attend below.
If you are unable to attend on Monday 27th and would still like to feedback or need support โ I also have a questionnaire for businesses affected here
