My first gala fundraising dinner of 2023 will take place on Friday 27 January in Braids Bistro, Holyhead Golf Club to raise funds for Môn Search and Rescue (MônSar).
Our Guest of Honour will be Rt Hon Tom Tugendhat, MP for Tonbridge and Malling since 2015. Tom was appointed Minister of State for Security in September 2022 and previously served as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee from 2017 to 2022. Before entering politics, he worked as a journalist and as a public relations consultant in the Middle East. He also had a part-time role as an officer in the British Army reserves, the Territorial Army; he served in the Iraq War and the Afghanistan War.
The menu choices for the event are:
Main:
- Goat’s cheese and pea risotto served with fresh baked bread
- Beef Bourguignon served with mash and winter vegetables
Dessert:
- Apple and rhubarb crumble served with custard
- Cheese and biscuits
