Virginia Crosbie at Stena

It is fantastic to hear the news that over 55,000 cruise passengers will be welcomed to North Wales this year as a result of Stena Line Ports reopening the deep-water berth here in Holyhead with the potential to bring many more in 2023.

So far in 2022 Stena Line Ports have hosted 37 visits by cruise liners, with over 55,000 cruise passengers potentially providing a significant boost to the Welsh tourist sector and economy.

It is great to see this is already having a positive impact on our islands attractions - the Holyhead Maritime Museum, who are usually closed on Mondays will be open on Monday 26th September to welcome all visitors, including those from the Cruise Ship 'Seas Splendor'.
