This September riders from up and down the country have taken part in “pass wide and slow” campaign, including in our very own Beaumaris.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of passing horses safely on the roads and reduce the number of incidents involving horses and motorists.

Before the event, I met with one of the organisers, Gerri Swift at Presaddfed Equine. to talk about the aims of the ride and get some top tips on how to pass wide and slow.

Definitely worth watching to near the end of this video to hear Gerri’s musical talents! 🎶 🤗

Diolch yn fawr to all who took part in the ride – which also raised money for the Wales Air Ambulance Charity as well as raising awareness of keeping all our road users safe.
