This September riders from up and down the country have taken part in โpass wide and slowโ campaign, including in our very own Beaumaris.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of passing horses safely on the roads and reduce the number of incidents involving horses and motorists.
Before the event, I met with one of the organisers, Gerri Swift at Presaddfed Equine. to talk about the aims of the ride and get some top tips on how to pass wide and slow.
