The closure of the Menai Bridge continues to cause problems for many of my constituents this week.

Myself and the Shadow Minister for Transport and Technology Natasha Asghar MS have written a joint letter directly to Welsh Government leader Mark Drakeford which you can see below.

UK Government has 𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in the maintenance of the Menai Bridge.

It is confusing of Welsh Government to use the shorthand of “UK Highways” rather than UK Highways A55 Ltd in their communications.

This seems to have caused some confusion for Ynys Môn Labour - who are using it to deflect this appalling situation away from the Welsh Labour Government rather than firmly land it at their feet.
