I had a fantastic afternoon with our Ukrainian guests and host families from across Anglesey, during our "together" event which I hosted in collaboration with Holyhead Rotary Club and The Valley Hotel.
It was a real privilege to be able to help bring Ukrainian families together, allowing them to network and make new friends - delighted to see so many swapping telephone numbers and making arrangements to see each other again!
A huge thank you to Mike, Richard, Barry John and all the Rotarians who attended and helped to organise the event, as well as to each and every stall holder who attended to provide support and information to the Ukrainian families.
And to Owner Paul, Manager John, Chef Tom and all the staff at the Valley Hotel whose hospitality was second to none, even researching and cooking some amazing Ukrainian food for our guests, and who kindly provided and funded the food for all our host and guest families, your generosity is outstanding.
