Congratulations to all the dogs and their brilliant owners who came to support the RNLI Moelfre Seawatch May Day fundraiser.
It started at 1pm at Moelfre Community School and involved a walk along the coastal path to the Hindlea monument followed by a short talk by one of the volunteers.
It was then onto Seawatch for the doggy competitions: the prettiest girl, most handsome boy, best veteran, waggiest tail, best rescue and junior handler (child aged up to 12yrs).
I was delighted to present the prize for the best in show to Bryn an exceptionally handsome black Labrador.
Thank you to Andy Hoyle the Moelfre Lifeboat operations manager and his team for the warm welcome and for looking after me so well.
