I launch my Aldi to Amlwch campaign

I've launched a campaign with residents to bring Aldi to Amlwch after the community asked her to get involved.

I kicked off the drive alongside residents Mandy Jones and councillor Aled Morris just before Easter at the Blueberries Café in the town and 60 residents came along.

Already 150 people have added their names to the call for the supermarket to set up shop but Virginia is calling for more to get involved and sign up.

Local people really want to see Aldi come to Amlwch and I have been in touch with the supermarket but we need to show there is widespread support for it so please get in touch and sign up.

Competition and supermarket choice is good for our island and I think Amlwch would benefit from another store.

I know the local people I met at Blueberries Café certainly thought so and I will do all I can to make the case to Aldi.

Mandy said: “Within days of me contacting her, Virginia contacted Aldi, met with the local community in Amlwch and has now launched a campaign.

“I have been impressed with Virginia's commitment to making a difference to people's lives here in the North of the island.”

If you would like to support the campaign, please email [email protected]
