Creating a Freeport on Ynys Môn / Creu Porthladd Rhydd ar Ynys Môn
I set up the Anglesey Freeport Bidding Consortium to lead Ynys Môn's bid for a Freeport. A Freeport would offer customs and tax benefits, and reduce the administrative burdens and regulations on businesses that operate on Anglesey. This will attract new creative and innovative organisations to our island bringing with them hundreds of new educational and employment opportunities for our young people.

Fe wnes i sefydlu Consortiwm Cynigion Porthladd Rhydd Ynys Môn i arwain cais Ynys Môn am Borthladd Rhydd. Byddai Porthladd Rhydd yn cynnig manteision tollau a threth, ac yn lleihau’r beichiau gweinyddol a’r rheoliadau ar fusnesau sy’n gweithredu ar Ynys Môn. Bydd hyn yn denu sefydliadau creadigol ac arloesol newydd i’n hynys, gan ddod â channoedd o gyfleoedd addysg a chyflogaeth newydd i’n pobl ifanc.
