It was an honour to open the 90th Cemaes Carnival and a privilege to congratulate the Carnival Queen Isabelle and all her amazing helpers - Jade, Hope, Emily and James, Isla, Jessica, Betty, Isabelle and Leon, Esme, Ruby and Lola.
I had the tough job of judging the fancy dress competitions - there were so many excellent entries - and I was grateful to be helped by my lovely friend Robert Carter.
Special thanks to Gillian Thomas and team for managing the Carnival Facebook page and doing an excellent job of keeping us so well informed and excited about the Carnival!
