Virginia Crosbie and the Levelling Up Minister

 

I met the Minister for Levelling Up to discuss our islands bid for £17m of UK government Levelling Up Funding - and our bid for Anglesey to become a Freeport.

Anglesey has already been awarded o𝘃𝗲𝗿 £𝟮𝟬𝟬𝗺 in funds from the UK Government 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and I will continue to work hard in Westminster to ensure Ynys Môn remains front and centre of UK Government policy.

News from the Levelling Up Fund is due at the end of November and the deadline to submit our Freeport bid is 24th November.
