Great to meet up with Huw Watkins Executive Director of bic-innovation and his team at our islands brilliant science park - M-SParc.

Based at M-SParc - bic-innovation is an innovation consultancy business - with 45 employees - focused on delivering sustainable growth for SMEs.

bic-innovation works with like minded organisations to support ambitious SMEs including Halen Môn Sea Salt, Becws Môn, PlantSea, Cwnmi Egino and 42able.AI.

Special thank you to Huw for encouraging me with my Welsh - rhaid I mi ymarfer mwy! I was particularly impressed with the companies ‘Iaith yn ygwaith’ initiative which involves the team all speaking Welsh together regularly to support and encourage each other.

We also discussed what Anglesey Freeport status means for business’s like bic-innovation and my two Freeport seminars on Friday 21st July 10-12 at Menter Môn in Llangefni and Friday 8th September 10-12 at M-SParc.

All businesses and constitute welcome to come along and find out more about our islands Freeport status and how it will potentially benefit them.

I am looking forward to welcoming Huw and his team to Westminster. On Wednesday 22nd November I am hosting my second Anglesey Day in Westminster (Jubilee Room 2-4pm).

I am keen to showcase companies like bic-innovation that have benefitted from support from Grŵp Llandrillo-Menai and Stu Meades at Greener Edge utilising funds from the £2.7m UK government Community Renewal Fund.

Please email me at [email protected] if you are a company that want to get involved in the day or you are a constituent that wants to come along and celebrate our islands success stories.
