𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹

It is a honour to have been selected to serve on the new Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill Committee.

The Bill Committee will meet four times a week for the next five weeks.

The Bill featured in the May 2022 Queen’s Speech.

The Bill will prevent organised criminals, fraudsters and terrorists from using companies and corporate entities to abuse our UK economy and it will strengthen the UK’s broader response to economic crime.

I have been on many Bill Committees since Ynys Môn elected me to be its Member of Parliament including:

Health and Care Bill Committee,

Nuclear Financing Bill Committee,

Environment Bill Committee,

Agriculture Bill Committee,

British Sign Language Bill,

Domestic Violence Bill Committee

These bills enable me to ensure that Ynys Môn and my constituents are represented in Westminster and are front and centre of government policy.
