From Rhosgoch to Holyhead to Gaerwen - our whole island will benefit from our new Freeport status.

Our Freeport has the potential to generate 3,500 jobs in the near term rising to 13,000 by 2030 with additional economic investment of £1bn.

Having worked hard on our bid for the last three years my role now is to ensure Anglesey Freeport is a success.

Creating a Freeport on Ynys Môn

I campaigned for over three years for Anglesey to have Freeport status and on 23 April 2023 I was delighted when the UK and Welsh Government’s announced that our bid to become a freeport was successful.
