Thank you to Paul Moffett, Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station Operations Manager, his team and all those that worked hard to make the fund raising day such a success. Big shout out to those that came to give the team support and help this important charity raise vital funds.
I am exceptionally proud of all of the team who do a terrific job in keeping us safe - often in difficult and challenging circumstances. The RNLI have huge respect and support here on Anglesey from all communities. We are fortunate too to have volunteers like Shirley and Bill Rogerson - and many others who work so hard in the RNLI shops.
On a personal note and as a keen sailor - I am a member of Holyhead Sailing Club , Royal Anglesey and recently Trearddur Bay - and I am a qualified BSAC diver - the RNLI are particularly close to my heart.
Diolch i Paul Moffett, Rheolwr Gweithrediadau Bad Achub Bae Trearddur, ei dîm a phawb a fu’n gweithio’n galed i wneud y diwrnod codi arian yn un llwyddiannus iawn. Diolch i bawb a ddaeth i gefnogi’r tîm heddiw ac i helpu’r elusen bwysig hon i godi arian hanfodol.
Rwy’n hynod o falch o’r tîm sy’n gwneud gwaith gwych yn ein cadw ni’n ddiogel – mewn amgylchiadau anodd a heriol yn aml. Mae cefnogaeth fawr i’r RNLI yng nghymunedau Môn ac mae’r elusen yn uchel iawn ei pharch. Rydym hefyd yn ffodus o gael gwirfoddolwyr fel Shirley a Bill Rogerson – a llawer o rai eraill sy’n gweithio mor galed yn siopau’r RNLI.
Ar nodyn personol ac fel hwyliwr brwd – rwy’n aelod o Glwb Hwylio Caergybi, Clwb Hwylio Brenhinol Môn a Bae Trearddur yn ddiweddar – ac rwy’n blymiwr BSAC cymwysedig – mae’r RNLI yn agos iawn at fy nghalon.
