𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁: 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻

In the budget the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has designated nuclear as green.

This is important; to have new nuclear at Wylfa it is vital the finance is in place.

This is why 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙙 the HM Treasury for nuclear to be labelled as green to enable the UK to compete on the global stage for nuclear finance.

𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 Treasury ministers, spoken in the chamber, tabled Written Questions (which are a matter of public record and can be found by following the links in the comments below ) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 written a letter to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak signed by over 50 MPs lobbying for nuclear to be designated green.

𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙗𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙛.
