As part of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek I went back to Holyhead Marine to catch up with Conor Williams.

Having first met Conor 12 months ago during my last Apprenticeship Week visit, it was great to hear first hand how valuable an opportunity the apprenticeship has been for Conor.

Along with being able to become qualified, whilst learning on the job, Conor also travelled to London to represent his employer in our Westminster Skills day in October.

Holyhead Marine have a proud history of recruiting and training local apprentices, who go on to have excellent careers – and I look forward to hearing how Conor's career progresses!
