As part of my Local Jobs for Local People campaign I want to make sure that the opportunities available to people on Anglesey are as inclusive as possible. That is why I am running a Disability Confident Jobs Fair on 9 February in Holyhead Town Hall from 10am.
I am working with the local Job Centre team to hold the event and I am particularly proud that the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Rt Hon Mel Stride MP, has accepted my invitation to open the Fair and meet with local employers and job-seekers.
The Fair will highlight the local employment and support opportunities available to those with disabilities of any kind. We already have a range of stands agreed including House of Linen by Zest, Anheddau, Hafan y Môr, Llechwedd Meats and Môn CF
